Mark and Mel supported by Wow Saddles run a eventing yard in Wales having moved from Berkshire. The yard currently has facilities for 9 horses with a professionally built manege by Clarke Equine Services.

Mel has been eventing for over 10 years, whilst working full time as a Business Development Director for a technology firm. She received sponsorship from Highclere Thoroughbred Racing from 1999-2001. Currently, Mel owns two 3 star horses and 3 youngsters. Having relocated to Wales, Mel will be actively seeking further rides for the 2008 season in addition to competition/schooling liveries and private tuition. Mel has competed and been placed at 3 Star level with Queens Council, including Bonn Rodderberg, Blenheim and Martinvast (Cherbourg). Minuteman, completed his first three day event at Windsor in 2004, finishing on his dressage score, winning the Pro Am Pairs at Bramham 3 Star 2006 and finishing 10th at Kreuth 3 Star (Germany) at the end of 2007. Minuteman will be campaigned at advanced and 3 star level in 2008 and will aim to do their first 4**** this year.

Mark had a successful eventing campaign through from Ponies to Young Riders, competing up to and including advanced level. He was selected for the Young Rider team that travelled to Atlanta for the Pre Olympic trials in 1994. Since then work commitments have changed Mark’s focus from competing, to teaching and breaking young horses.
